This page was created to explain user activity on your site, and the different scenarios that can occur when a user visits your site. We understand that it may be a little confusing when you see conversion numbers in your siteMighty account, and then a different set of smaller numbers in your Affiliate Network account. This page explains the discrepancy.
Glossary:

In this scenario, someone on your site clicks to apply for a credit card. They leave your site, view the Interstitial page and successfully reach the application page. This would be counted as a (1) conversion in siteMighty and a (1) conversion in your Affiliate Network account. Click for more.

In this scenario, someone on your site clicks to apply for a credit card. However, they may leave your site briefly (on their way to the application), but immediately choose to return to your site. This happens when they are just browsing and clicking around your site not neccessarily intending to apply for a card. Users may also click back when they either weren't expecting to see the Interstitial page or they think they it's taking too long to transfer to the application page. This would be counted as a (1) conversion in siteMighty, but not (0) a conversion in your Affiliate Network account since the user never reached the application.

In this scenario, someone on your site clicks to apply for a credit card, but they neither click to the application or come back to your site. The user disappears between when they leave your site and before they reach the application. This would be counted as a (1) conversion in siteMighty, but not (0) a conversion in your Affiliate Network account since the user never reached the application.
Affiliate Network Stats: Why you see smaller numbers there
As illustrated in Conversion Scenario 1, the user reaches the credit card application page, but this doesn't mean they complete the application or get approved. Consider the following:

Conversion Scenario 1.1: Site > Interstitial > Application > Application Completed Successfully > Approved
In this scenario, the user successfully reaches the application page, fully completes the application, and is approved for that credit card. In some cases, credit card commissions are paid per lead (you get them to the site, you get paid), but in most cases the users must be approved for the card in order for you to earn a commission.

Conversion Scenario 1.2: Site > Interstitial > Application > Application Completed Successfully > Not Approved
In this scenario, the user successfully reaches the application page, fully completes the application but is not approved for the credit card by the credit card company. In this case, you will not earn a commission because no approval was created.

Conversion Scenario 1.3: Site > Interstitial > Application > Application Not Completed Successfully
In this scenario, the user successfully reached the application page, but doesn't complete the application. A number of factors could cause this. The terms may not be what the user was expecting. The application may be too long. They change their mind. They get distracted. In this case, you will not earn a commission because no approval was created.
